The Devil's Marbles
This was a beautiful, and very spiritual spot... I can certainly imagine the ceremonies conducted here. Sadly, we could not stay for a long time, but I took a beautiful walk around the rocks. Just Wow!
Hi Nik & Stik, Some lovely photos. Devil's Marbles look fantastic. Recently watched doco on the traditional owners of the marbles and their stories and history. Most interesting. You will be pleased to know that the care of marbles will be passed on to a fellow by the name of 'Fatboy', he is the grandson of the current custodian. He could not remember his grandson's real name but said everyone called him 'Fatboy'. V Funny. The stories however were fantastic. I would love to see them some day. Watch out for the Salties. Have fun. Keep up the posting.
Dear Nikkster, I am again on the latest posting, thanks to your email and this amazing collection of photos. I thought several of the photos were extremely funnyyyyyyyy (you are awakening the comedian that Steve always had in him)and he pics of the crocodile tour were mind blowing. Just how close were you to those fangs?? thinking of you often and good to hear you are heading this way in July. Let me know when it comes closer so I can tie up that Daylesford getaway. The weather is cold enough for us to get flashbacks to last year. Hanging Rock is calling us.
