One night stop at Bitter Springs in Mataranka... we floated down the thermal stream, enjoying the mineral rich pool, the ambience, the warmth and peace. Good stuff

Devonshire Teas in Larimah
Quick lunch stop in Larimah... at Fran's Devonshire Teas... Actually now being run by her grandson. Lovely guy, full of the history of this township, population of 8. Scones were scrumptious as well as the vanilla slice. As we sat there, we were joined by one of the local lads (lives a mere 150kms away "out west") we were regaled with his tales of close call plane crashes and subsequent broken back recovery. Great fun, and a wonderful stop. Apparently the buffalo pies are really good, but we were stuffed, so can't attest to this.
Definitely worth a stop ... next time we will stay at the caravan park.

The Devil's Marbles
After a fabulous surprise of great meals and happy hour and powered site at the Devil's Marbles Hotel, we headed on to the Devil's Marbles themselves. Spectacular. Lovely walk amongst the rocks.

All on my own!
Water to be found, too!

Kings Canyon Day 1 22 May 2021
Love the flowering bushes
And the gums
The varying colours of the sandstone
Walking into the Canyon itself...
And tomorrow we are going to walk - UP THERE
The diversity of this place is extraordinary... the colours defy the eye. Walking into the Canyon is easy and gentle... unlike our planned walk tomorrow 🤔

Checking out the scenery - it was pretty darned cold
Boat in the Outback
Walking up in the Flinders Ranges - Jen's favourite plant
The Boys - spent most of the time chatting about fishing.
Willow Springs has a confluence of ley-lines and I stood in the middle. Felt nothing. Sticky stood in the middle and was blown away by the energy.
