Cockle Creek

Drove to Cockle Creek for the day.

Pretty area.



This statue is of a young Southern Right Whale in remembrance of the whaling industry which nearly wiped out the population. Apparently they would wound the young first so that the adult whales would hang around. Dreadful history.

Sticky gave him a kiss.
This could well be Sticky's retirement beach house. He loves it here.
