From Bright to Merimbula

We took a different route to Merimbula ... through Eskdale and Mitta Mitta. We might have paid a bit more attention to the notice "Road Not Suitable for Caravans"... most of the drive was fine, except when the bitumen disappeared and we found ourselves on a nasty patch of slippery slidey mud. Sticky handled the situation very well, and we ended up at Anglers Rest. Free camping by the creek, and waking up to 0 degrees!

The new generator is just fantastic, boiling the kettle is now a breeze.

Overnight in Benalla to see Sabine

I dropped in to see Sabine overnight. Wonderful to see you again, Schnuck... and I will see you in May... thanks also for the parsley present ... We will be using that in our fresh salmon and fennel dish... very yummy.

Sadly taking my leave from Benalla. Well, I will be back in May.

Alpine Senior Masters

I was not there for Day 2 of the Masters, but can proudly report that Sticky came third, after a huge match-play battle with Ross Percy, in the final grouping. Unfortunately, both competitors found that Bill Banks had shot a 70 off the stick to come 1st, resulting in Ross coming 2nd and Steve 3rd. All the same, an excellent result.
