Our Favourite Cafe

Our Favourite Spot for Coffee Drinking. This is the best coffee in Merimbula! And the cafe sits right on the water.

(Maybe that is why it is called the Waterfront Cafe?)

Visitors to the Caravan Park

Black Cockatoos have suddenly appeared and are wingeing in the trees. They literally winge! They are just gorgeous, so I'm delighted to see them. In the Alps their appearance usually signifies inclement weather. At the beach, it means they are greedy and want to eat the gumnuts.

Just talked to my Mum and Dad

My Mum has just undergone a knee operation and is now recuperating at a hotel. Check it out!!! I spoke to Mum and Dad on the phone and they are pretty well, considering they have to endure the facilities of this place. I offered to come and visit, but they head back to Horsham on Saturday. Sigh...

A Day At Merimbula

The kangaroos at the caravan park are very curious, and always looking for a feed...

It is Men's Day at Merimbula Golf Club, and Sticky is about to hit off.
The Clubhouse is pretty nice!
Sticky drives down the first hole, and I head off to walk along the beach.
Watching the spoonbills checking out the beach for crustaceans.
