Sticky's new friend

At Bobby's New Castle

Stunning Castle!!!

Eilean Donan Castle

Love this picture

Again, amongst the grounds of the Castle at Skye.

Maggie and I enjoying Skye

Us.  Playing the king of the castle.

Walking around the castle grounds on Skye

Our walk around the grounds was just wonderful.  The weather was cold, windy, but bracing and sunny.

Sticky's Castle

We thought we might let Sticky have this as his own castle.  He might have to do a bit of renovation though...

Are we having fun yet?

Sticky is incredibly cold here.  Unlike Maggie and I he was not wearing thermals... His smile is somewhat fixed.  We took the photo and hot footed (if hot was a word we could actually use)... back to the car where we fought for the front seats which were heated.

My amazing daughter

Taking a leap of faith!

Maggie and I went for a delicious walk together while Steve tried to get warm in the car.  We got a little ... not lost.  But off the beaten track.  Maggie shows her agility and style.  Nimbly crossing a little "burn".  We found our way back pretty well in the end.

Rugged land

Maggie and I headed off on a beautiful walk thru some spectacular land

Bonnie Prince Charlie's Column

Simply stunning

Glenfinnan

Amazing view from the lookout down the loch over the column of Bonnie Prince Charlie...

Bobby's Land

We wanted to go and find where Bobby and Rini have their estate.  Here we are in Glencoe Wood.  Bobby's land is very close by.

These two love birds are sure to be the spot.

Here we are at Bobby's vast estate

Maggie is delighted with breakfast

At our B&B in Crianlarich... We also tried haggis and black pudding. Lucky I tried it first before finding out what it was!!!

Mr Badger Hangs Around

Maggie's first siting of a real Badger.  Sadly.  Sticky was far more interested in the fish on the wall above.  It was a most odd place, but somehow endearing.  The food was delicious. And the wine... Aaah, the wine.  We slept well

Dining in a Hunters Paradise in Crianlarich

Great food, great company... Very tired and jet lagged.  This was our first night's accommodation in Scotland.  We had stopped at another place, but found the shower was cold, the atmosphere pretty sombre and I cracked it.  So.  Off we went to find another place... This is a Great Western hotel.  Cheaper than cold shower place and much more convivial.  Despite the dead creatures everywhere!

Looking at the Fishpen

This was an exquisite walk on the sand at low tide...
