Picnic At Lake Pambula

What a perfect day for a picnic!!! So Bob and Sarina invite us to take their boat, and follow their kayaks up the lake to a special spot for a wonderful picnic. Here is Sarina showing how the kayak works...
And here is Heather, ready for a fabulous outing.
Steve and Bob discuss ... Well, I'm not sure what they are talking about, but they are obviously having fun.
Great photo guys!
Lets go... the scenery is just beautiful
Heather is having lots of fun!
Oh, and Look! There is Bob and Sarina, at the special picnic spot.
A photo for absent friends... the chairs are for those who should be here.

Steve has constructed a special seat for himself, out of driftwood and spikey plant... Not sure I like that one, but he seems perfectly happy. Check out the stubby holder too!
Steve decides he needs to check out this kayaking lark
No Sweetie! You don't go backwards all the time...
Ah. Got it.
Mel, not to be outdone, shows his skills

Time to come back. Sadly it is home time.We zoom off in the boat, leaving Mel and Bob to kayak back to the boat ramp.
Don't get left behind, Mel!

Tathra Beach With The Doggies

Delighted Doggies... A walkies at the beach!!! Steve lets Bundy off the leash, and asks him to be a good boy...
Would these two ever misbehave?
Bundy goes wild with excitement! Jess stays calm and cool...

"C'mon, Jess" says Bundy, check out this wet stuff! But Jess is not interested. This stuff is way too wild for her.
Jess is more of a desert dog.

She is on her best behaviour.
While Bundy just laughs and laughs!!!
OK, doggies... time to go home... "Do we have to?" they say.
Yup. They head back over the dunes. Back home for a big, big sleep.

Pambula Merimbula Golf Club

Well, being back here has resulted in mixed golf scores... I finally had success today with 93 off the stick, winning the B Grade runner up prize. I had a lesson with Lisa from Eden Golf Club and obviously attribute the new swing and ability to her! And the gorgeous "one out of the box" day weather wise!

Steve, on the other hand, played in the most gruesome weather imaginable on Saturday... storms with lightening overhead, floods etc. The competition had to be stopped for a couple of hours, and eighteen holes played in driving rain. He managed a 78 off the stick, winning the net runner up! There has to be some psychological thing going on here, as the next day with excellent weather conditions he had 84 off the stick. We are trying to find him a sports psychologist!

Lisa and Ian... Come Home! We Miss You!!!

Playing golf at Merimbula with Di and H... a wonderful day. We talked and talked and talked. All about Lisa and Ian's various antics.

We all agreed it was definitely time for the Trailer Trash in Western Australia to come home.

Nah, Nah, Nah... Don't want to go here!!!

Our Overnight Camp and a Walk to Rosedale

En Route to Merimbula, we stopped at this pretty little campsite by the river. A 2.5km walk to town and back along a little country track was well worth the effort. Pretty place.

Love the house name for this abode.
Odd. But good.
The welcoming lights of the old highway inn.

Yet Another Odd Icon

Righto! Well, I want to go there!

MILLI CANN - SUFFER IN YA JOX!!!!

I'm sorry Milli... I simply couldn't resist. There were spare tickets going begging... Lucky I took my camera along.

This is Didak... waiting for the final siren! So exciting!!!
Oh, look how excited these boys are! They are kissing each other! (Get a room, boys)
Mick Malthouse - deliriously happy.

More boys hugging! Buckley and Didak... two heros.
